Richard will appear on CTV's coverage of Live Earth this morning at 1 am to discuss movies with an eco friendly message. Here are all the details...

In an effort to galvanize people from across Canada to "answer the call" about the global climate crisis, CTV revealed a broadcast plan that will see a marathon, 28-hour, High Definition broadcast on CTV as well as over 60 hours of additional live coverage on CTVglobemedia's MuchMusic, MuchMoreMusic, Bravo! and Star!, where each concert from each city will be seen in their entirety. Finally, live coverage will also be broadcast on CTVgm's CHUM radio network. The end result is a customized-for-Canadians television and radio broadcast unlike any other in the world.

In what will be the world's largest High Definition concert broadcast of all time, CTV's non-stop Live Earth coverage will be the longest, single program ever broadcast by the network. Live coverage begins at 10 p.m. ET on Friday, July 6 when the first of more than 100 international artists takes to the stage in Sydney, Australia and continues until 11 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 7, when the historic event concludes at Giants Stadium in New Jersey (see Addendum 1: Live Earth Timeline, below). Viewers in British Columbia will see 28 hours of coverage, beginning at 7 p.m. PT on July 6 and continuing to 11 p.m. PT on July 7.

Anchored from MuchMusic headquarters in downtown Toronto, the Live Earth broadcast on CTV will feature rolling live coverage from up to five concerts simultaneously. CTV will send entertainment reporters from its family of channels to London and New Jersey to cover the UK and US legs of the event. While live highlights from across the globe will air during the marathon CTV broadcast, eight concerts will also air simultaneously in their entirety live on CTVglobemedia's MuchMusic, MuchMoreMusic, Bravo! and Star!

Live Earth features performances from some of the world's biggest music headliners, including Madonna, Bon Jovi, The Police, Enrique Iglesias, Kelly Clarkson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kanye West, Melissa Etheridge, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, John Mayer, Shakira, Black Eyed Peas, Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, Duran Duran, The Pussycat Dolls and many others.

Richard will appear at The Drake Hotel (1150 Queen Street West) in The Sean Schau with host Sean Cullen tonight to discuss the Oscar nominations. The show  starts at 9 (door is at 8:30 pm) and the cover is $10. Here's a blurb about the show: "Come to Sean's Schau. It's an evening of comedy, music, interviews, violence and magic. All right, there will no magic. An Orb will be present, throbbing with supernatural power as Sean sings, chats dances and amuses all and sundry. Bring your sundries! Sean will dance with and around them. You will not believe your eyes! Don't listen to your eyes! They will only break your heart. Se..n's Schau: you will believe an Orb can throb."
